Brooke Henderson fired four rounds in the 60’s but that was only good for a tie for 13th at the LPGA event in Arizona.

 

The Smiths Falls golfer finished the Bank of Hope Founders cup at 18 under par.

 

The winner (Anna Nordquist) was 25 under.

 

Brooke takes home just over 21 and a half thousand.

 

The women are playing this week in Carlsbad California in the Kia Classic.

Rachel Homan and Team Canada are still undefeated at the world women’s curling championship in Beijing.    Homan and her Ottawa foursome downing the United States 7-5, improving to 4-and-0 in round-robin action.

 

 

The Raptors put forth one of their better performances of late, downing the Pacers 116-91 at Air Canada Centre. DeMar DeRozan had a game-high 22 points and six other Raptors scored in double digits. It was the first meeting between the two teams since Toronto beat Indiana in seven games in last season’s opening round of the playoffs.
